Dice Folding

Roll the two dice and choose one to mark off boxes on your score sheet. Your opponents use the remaining dice. You win if you connect all the target symbols with marked boxes. However, not all target symbols are on the same side of your score sheet. Some are on the back and can only be reached by folding the corners of the score sheet. To be allowed to fold, you must first cross off enough smileys. Dice Folding was co-developed by Carcassonne creator Klaus-Jürgen Wrede. Folding the corners gives a unique twist to the roll and write. Folding changes the playing surface, which you then have to continue playing on. The game contains four different levels of score sheets, each with their own characteristics. For example, the Sliding Party level contains boxes with ice, on which you slide as it were by placing crosses. The level Beam and Deflect has boxes that act as a kind of teleporters. Each level also has a solo variant.
